Joe, I accept you how you are. I wouldn't ever want you to change. You are different and that's a good thing. I hope you don't listen to what people say about you. It doesn't matter what they say, just stay true to you. Don't live for anyone else. We will always be the Gang of five because we all connect with us all being misfits.

I understand how you feel Bobby. I get made fun of things I can't help every single day. I don't know how it can feel to loose a parent. I can't imagine how I would deal with my mother dieing. I'm so sorry. If you ever need any one to talk to about your mother dieing, you can come to me. I hope you and your dad can have a good relationship one day, and he starts to go out and live life more.

QUESTION 3 - STEAL
My Character from the misfits was Addie Carle.
Speech: Addie always speaks out for what she believes in. Addie speaks very educated. This reveals that Addie is a very intelligent, independent girl.
Thoughts: In the book the author never wrote anything about Addie's thoughts. The reveals that she doesn't express her inside thoughts.
Effect on Others: Addie is very controllive. She trys to do the best she can at things. he friends listen to what she has to say. This reveals that she's a leader not a follower.
Actions: She sticks up for what she believes. She behaves on what's right. She doesn't care what people think. This reveals that she shows her beliefs and what's right.
Looks: Addies is very tall. She's very outspoken and she stands out because she has " the characteristics boys want". This reveals that Addie is a outspoken, tall girl, and stands out.

QUESTION 2 - COURAGE
Out of all the characters in the book I think Addie has shown the most courage. I think she has shown the most courage because she is a misfit, and she walked up to the popular table to ask Dushawn to be in the Freedom Party. She also had to deal with Tawani when she asked Dushawn. A direct quote from the book is "What?" Tonni squeals "Don't be tellin' me this isn't about black or white. It's always about black or white, and if you don't think so, it's because you're white." ""Look," she says, "I'm sorry you're angry, Tonni. I guess I'm a little naive about some things...""

QUESTION 1 - LOSS
One character that has lost someone was Bobby's dad who lost his wife. The lost made Bobby's dad is very introverted, he keeps to himself. He doesn't really socialize with people. Bobby's dad dealt with this loss by not following through with his landscaping business and he never really goes out.

Addie Skeezie Tookis here I understand how you feel because through out my years of living I have been called alot of rude name such as Wop,Greaser,Grease Ball,Slime,Ball,Guinea,Dummy,Geek,Schizo,Hooligan,J.D., Freak, and a lot more mean words and you just have to be strong in anything you do and don't let no one put you down and what ever people say about you just don't pay attention to them and stay strong.

Bobby I think you have been through to many things and your father should get over it and get someone to be his companion and a stepmother to Bobby because of the loss he has endured of losing his mother to cancer. Bobby to me you are a good friend and I want to be your friend till the end of high school and till my death because of you losing your mom.

My name is Addie Carle, I got to paintbrush falls middle school and I'm a misfit. I am mocked because of my height and intelligence, people call me know it all, beanpole, and Einstein cause of this. But if you really knew me you would know that I am a really nice person, im not trying to make people feel like they are dumb, im just being myself. People treat me badly because im very tall and skinny, but they don't even try to get to know the real me and that hurts but I know that I have my best friends. People also think that because I am smart that im a dork, im not a dork im just very intelligent, and if you feel some type of way because of this then im sorry but its just who I am, I cant change my personality because people don't like it.
